Raw's Side

Raw turned to Zel, feeling her soft touches, fur on fur or her paw lightly brushing his. She smelled like his mother, nearly, that same sweet, warm scent that could comfort and quell any feelings of despair and anxiety. He turned his scarred face towards her, eyes soft, "Thank you...I...I may have been on the sidelines, but I still did not step in to stop Krust and the others...I remained neutral entirely, which in some ways is worse than fighting for one of the two sides, even if it was Krust's side. Because being neutral...it's like...being in limbo...no one is there to back you up because you haven't chosen a side, and thus haven't chosen allies..."

His lips quirked into a rare smile, "But I've chosen my side now, little violet, and it is to stand alongside this pack and protect it with my life."
